I Heart Faces Contest Entry - "Let Them Be Little"

When it was a specifically "baby" theme, I couldn't resist entering my absolute favorite shot of late...my future little pianist. He is doomed to follow in his parents' footsteps and be a musician. :-)

Rock The Shot Contest Entry

The theme for the contest is kids + fall...unfortunately for south Texas, fall doesn't seem to happen until Christmas. Sooooo, I decided to "pretend" it's fall and do an indoor photo shoot with a a fall outfit and some crochet apples. It may not feel like fall in Texas, but we are going to PRETEND like it does!!! :-)

My baby is getting too big!

My sweet little baby boy is on the verge of his first birthday, and I'm so NOT ready for that. I took him out for some practice and his 11 month photos last week...here are a handful of pictures. :-)

Hooray for my new blog!

As I pursue this desire to be a portrait photographer, I realized it was time to set up a blog to which I can direct clients, so that they may see some previews from their session(s). It will also work as my portfolio (along with Facebook) until I see fit to get a website up and running. Right now my website is dedicated only to my graphics and web design. I will probably add a link on there to this blog just to have it on there. Anyway, I will hopefully have some pictures to post in the coming week or two, so I'll be back then! Thanks!
